We are currently recruiting qualified faculty teaching staff for IMMEDIATE employment/deployment to support the three faculties at NIMA:
1. Management and Administration
2. Accounting and Financial Management
3. Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
The specific tasks assigned to the Junior Faculty teaching staff are as follows:
• delivery of approved teaching curricula and courses to students in accordance with the semester
timetable at NIMA
• assist the relevant Senior Faculty Expert with the preparation of curricula and teaching and
course materials for the faculty
• support the Teacher Development Program Expert and Faculty Trainer for the implementation of
a development program for an Afghan Teacher Trainee Faculty at NIMA; this includes the
tutoring of Afghan Teacher Trainees
• other tasks and/or responsibilities as required and assigned by the relevant Senior Faculty Expert
and agreed with MSP.
Prerequisite qualifications and skills
The minimum requirements for available positions are as follows:
• advanced university qualification in the field related to the faculty concerned (i.e. Management and Administration, Accounting and Financial Management or ICT) and/or relevant field
• teacher training experience is highly desirable
• high fluency in both spoken and written English
• IT conversant (in particular with Microsoft Office software)
• ability to work proactively and within a team structure
• ability and willingness to work irregular hours.
