It will provide services in recognition of Afghanistan’s cultural and socio-economic context. Mission Statement ARAZI defines its mission as: 1. Ensuring that Afghanistan’ land resources are used in support of the country’s economic, social and environmental policies and development goals. 2. Providing efficient and effective land administration and land management services that facilitate access to land for economic and social development. 3. Increased and easier access to land, involving also tenure security for communities, individuals, and investors . Better allocation of land to promote development in an economically efficient, socio- culturally acceptable and environmentally friendly way . Provide land related information to government, communities, individuals, and investors . Duties & Responsibilities:

The incumbent will undertake the following responsibilities under the direct supervision of the Finance and Admin Director:

Plan, prioritize and implement project activities related to the administrative needs;

Ensure efficient, effective, responsive, transparent and accountable provision of administrative and Financial services to support the implementation of project activities;

Arrange office space and necessary equipment for all staff and ensure that all furniture and equipment are in proper order;

Ensure a clean and healthy environment by ensuring proper maintenance of the office premises;

Ensure production and maintenance of up-to-date and accurate administrative records and reports;

Ensure timely inventory of newly acquired equipment and assets;

Typing letters, reports, minutes of the meeting and other administrative duties and responsibilities;

Coordinates and updates Executive’s diary;

Arranges and co-ordinates meetings, travel and accommodation when needed;

Schedules appointments and minor administrative and business detail(s);

Prepare and manage a record system to keep track of confidential documents;

Coordinates & follows-up on stationary items required by reporting line;

Manage and maintain effective filing system as well as developing a database of activities and events of the supervisors’ office;

Receive visitors and attend to them in a polite and professional manner and follow-up on their administrative requirements;

Supervise the support staff including drivers and guards

Facilitate organizing events such as conferences, workshops, seminars and meetings;

Coordinate travel arrangements for project partners and staffs;

Any other task(s) as assigned by the supervisor;

Job Requirement:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, or in any other relevant field;

At least 3 years of proven communications, planning and implementation experience,

Familiarity and understanding of public administration, relevant laws, rules and regulations of Afghanistan is plus;

Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills; Demonstrates openness to change and ability to manage complexities;

Good knowledge and understanding of administration;

Builds strong professional relationships with staff and clients;

Consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude;

Ability to plan own work and manage conflicting priorities;

Good communication (spoken and written) skills, including ability to explain and present Admin related information / requirements and prepare written documents /communications in a clear, concise style;

Good report writing and minutes taking skill

Excellent working knowledge of English , both verbal and written; Fluency both written and verbal in Dari and Pashto;

Good interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with people in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity;

Good working knowledge of MS Office application (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email and able to easily navigate internet;

Be able to uphold and respect office ethics and to conduct activities with integrity
