Job Summary:
NSP Department Administrative Assistant
Duties & Responsibilities:
The NSP Administrative Assistant/Kabul will have the following primary responsibilities:
•Support and assist the NSP department in its duties to implement sub-projects under the National Solidarity Program;
•Responsible for tracking FIA’s NSP project activities under the NSP Web Reporting system and updating the Director of NSP on any and all changes;
•Coordinate with FI NSP Provincial offices to ensure that sub-project activities are properly tracked and the data reconciled with the web reporting system;
•Create and maintain real time databases that convey the progress of ongoing NSP sub-projects. This will involve, among other responsibilities, following up on community block grants, disbursed at the provincial level and following the sub-project developments;
•Responsible for tracking the status of the CDC block grant disbursements, following up with the MRRD NSP block grant department in the event of delays;
•Responsible for assisting the FIA NSP Master Trainer in preparing for and implementing training/workshops at the FIA Country Office and Provincial Office level
•Monitor changes in the national NSP program, providing updates to the FIA NSP department;
•Ensure that sub-project proposals are accurate and timely by liaising with provincial and district FIA NSP employees on a weekly basis;
•Responsible for creating and submitting the FIA NSP departmental monthly and quarterly reports;
•Responsible for editing and compiling the FIA field trip reports and FIA NSP success stories
•Create and maintain soft copy and hard copy filing systems for FIA NSP projects, past and present;
•Prepare training materials for conferences and workshops that will serve to build the capacity of provincial and district FIA NSP department employees;
•Assist the NSP department in compiling data and preparing periodic progress reports for the FIA Country Director and Home Office;
•Any and all other administrative duties as determined by the FIA Director of NSP.
Job Requirement:
•High School Graduate
•Minimum of two years of work experience with International Organizations
•Strong interest in supporting rural development and local governance initiatives
•Strong observation skills
•Proficient in MS Office ( In particular word and excel)
