About Women for Afghan Women:
Women for Afghan Women, a civil society NGO in Afghanistan dedicated to promoting and protecting the human rights of women and children, will be opening a residence for children currently living with their mothers in the Kabul Prison. We are seeking a manager for this facility, which is a pilot program unique in Afghanistan. All staff working for Women for Afghan Women in any capacity must believe wholeheartedly in womenâ€™s and child rights and gender equality and must pledge their dedication to improving the status of women and children in Afghanistan. Staff in the Childrenâ€™s Residence must be willing to work with children whose mothers (and some fathers) are in prison and who may have lived in prison with their mothers over long periods of time. They must be dedicated to providing these children with a healthy, nurturing environment in order to give them the opportunity to become well-adjusted, productive adults. They must demonstrate that they can be supportive, positive, and non-judgmental in their approach to the most challenging problems related to these children, and they must demonstrate the same qualities toward women (mothers) in prison and mothers who are being released from prison and whose lives are being rehabilitated.
Our admin Assistant is responsible for all office work. She must keep all files complete and accurate.

Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Respect internal organization rules.
â€¢ Support the Project Manager in planning and safe-keeping of project administrative records such as contracts, leavesâ€™ follow-up etc.
â€¢ The Admin assistant is responsible to manage attendances and leave of the project staff. Report the leave balance of the staff to their head of departments on quarterly basis.
â€¢ Keep updated the personal files of all the staff.
â€¢ Supervision and/or controlling of the project support staff activities check uniforms of guards.
â€¢ Write all forms and letters to government and other offices
â€¢ Respond to official office emails
â€¢ Organize meetings as needed by office
â€¢ Compile and organize information for trainings, meeting agendas and conferences (organizing sound systems, stage etc.)
â€¢ Organize and draft program reports when needed
â€¢ Organize all WAW files and staff files
â€¢ Keep WAW files safe and confidential
â€¢ Attend meetings
â€¢ Makes sure basic office supplies are in stock, order when necessary: orders to be approved by program manager. Keeps file of orders, including items, date of purchase, cost.
â€¢ Other work as needed by organization
-Excellent writing skills in English
-Must have excellent communication skills
-Must be familiar with the computer
