Ministry of Labor, Social Affairs (MoLSA) is one of the key ministries of the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (GIRoA) functioning under the auspices of Social Protection Sector Strategy (SPSS) of Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS) framework and mandated to deliver services in the areas of labor and social protection affairs MoLSA facilitates employment opportunities for unemployed and unskilled segments of the society through Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) and Skills Development Training (SDT) projects. In addition, MoLSA drafts labor related laws and regulations and policies on social protection.

One of the main components of Social protection sector strategy is providing services to orphans and children in risk which is managed by Orphanages General Directorate.

The Orphanages Capacity Building project is supported by the Indian government through Ministry of Economy and is implement by General Directorate of Orphanages in Ministry Labor and social Affairs.

This Capacity building project includes the following: 

-     Recruitment of Project Staff

-     Construction of dormitory for orphan children

-     Training program for orphans i.e Konkor test Preparation, English and computer training, in Two orphanages in Kabul.

-     Purchase of Goods and services mentioned the project document.

Job Summary:

The Admin/Finance Assistant is to provide financial and administration support to the Project Officer of the organization in accordance

There will be a probation period of 2 months. Annual performance evaluations will be organized by the Organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-     Maintain the filing system and data entry of Finance record.

-     Work in close cooperation with the CEO of company in all daily financial affairs.

-     Prepare cash reconciliation, details of receivables and payable.

-     Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.

-     Ensure payment of various expenses for goods, works and services.

-     Ensure expenses are allowable, allowable, and reasonable.

-     Controlling the day to day transactions and provide on time feedback.

-     Perform any other appropriate tasks, as assigned by the supervisor

-     Arrange all meetings related to Administration and facilitate the head of administration and administration managers regarding meetings set up and other related issues.

-     Maintain confidential records and files

-     Maintain records of decisions

-     Prepare time sheet on the regular base according their attendance sheet.

-     Assist with department regarding administration issues when required.

-     Perform miscellaneous admin related duties as assigned.

-     Maintain, manage and update a stander filling system with coordination of office Officer.

-     Receive/arrange all incoming and outgoing letters and other payments done through administration with Office Officer Cooperation.

-     Type correspondence, reports and other documents

-     Open and distribute the mail

-     Take minutes at meetings and Distribute minutes

-     Coordinate repairs to office equipment

-     Assist the project team in the drafting and preparation of annual work plans for the implementation of the project and its components.

-     Any other task assigned by the project officer.
