Job Summary:

With the direction provided by the Regional Director, the admin and finance officer looks after all the administrative needs besides performing and undertaking all the financial operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer and monitor the financial system in order to ensure that the Finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
• Administer employee files and records in order to ensure accurate payment of benefits and allowances are paid.
• Administer the payroll in order to ensure that employees are paid in an accurate and timely manner
• Establish, maintain and reconcile the financial transactions.
• Making and preparing financial vouchers
• Prepare and reconcile bank statements
• Processes supplier invoices and other procurement vouchers.
• Preparing income statements and balance sheets
• Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
• Maintain financial files and records
• Prepare journal summaries
• Take periodic inventories to monitor the inventory against theft, reconcile general ledger inventory registration.
• Reconcile weekly deposits
• Maintaining of vehicles log books against fuel and oil spending.
• Maintain the records of any loss due to foreign exchange rates
• preparation of financial reports
• Office administration (maintenance, procurement, transportation arrangement.)
• Assist with the interim and annual audit
• Maintain the computerized accounting system
• Maintain the leave management system and verify annual leave record.
• Maintain confidential employee files

Job Requirement:

Qualification and Experience:

• University degree, from a recognized University in Economics, Business Management with a minimum of five years of experience in the relevant filed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent language skills both oral and written (English, Pashto, Dari)
• Excellent computer knowledge
• Excellent Typing skills in above mentioned language
• He /She will be instructed and assigned for day to day activities by Director
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a person of proven honesty and integrity with no criminal record, result oriented and proactive.
