Job Summary

The admin officer will be responsible for administration of health system strengthening coordination unit and provide support to administrative issues of concerned departments.

Duties & Responsibilities


•Anticipate activities and deadlines according to the HSS work plan and other schedules, and ensures that administrative support is available in a timely manner to support those activities.
•Keep track of all correspondence, communication related to HSS within MOPH as well as other organizations.
•Facilitate the HSS hiring process, to ensure hired staff is fully capable of meeting the requirements of the respective positions, Make sure any recruitment conforms with established policies/procedures and transparent and bias-free recruitment process observation, Advertise Job Ads. Look for qualified candidates, Screen candidates with the panel members, Participate in interview, and make hiring recommendations.
•Preparation of employment contracts for HSS staff and renewing it when required.
•Ensure the purchase, maintenance and supply of office supplies and equipments, and that MOPH requirement are met.
•Follow-up with requesting units on their procurement requisitions, ensuring that all requirements are met, up to delivery, acceptance and payment.
•Keeping track of the inventory procured for the HSS concerned departments and ensures that the MoPH policies are met in handing over the inventory along with regular check up.
•Proper schedule use of vehicles and maintaining the route and quarterly estimation of the fuel consumption, and other small expenses and scheduling the timely services and maintenance of vehicles.
•Setting and coordinating logistics for meetings, workshops, seminars of HSS when required.
•Maintain overall office systems, including those for filing of program and other materials, according to rules established at the MOPH.
•Liaison with government and non-government agencies in regards of following the issues.
•Perform other related tasks assigned by HSS coordinator.

Job Requirements


•Bachelor in BBA, Economics or related field.
•Minimum three years of working experience in governmental or non-governmental agencies.
•Fluency and professional writing ability in English language and one of the local languages;
•Strong computer skills
•Strong attention to detail and high-level of organizational ability.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•Able to work independently in a multi-disciplinary team.
