Job Summary:

Administrative Clerk

Duties & Responsibilities:

The employee in this position will report directly to the Security Technical Specialist (STS) of the Engineering Services Center (ESC). The primary duty of this position will be to support the daily administrative activities of the RST and STS staff. Additional duties will be to support the logistician with inventory management.

Job Requirement:

1. EDUCATION: Completion of High School is required.

2. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of one (1) year prior work experience in office management/administration is required.

3. LANGUAGE: Level 4 (fluent) English and Dari read/write/speak are required.

4. SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work productively in a high stress environment. Good organizational and Communication skills are required with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and community. The ability to prioritize work without reference to a supervisor is required. Must be proficient in the use office equipment such as faxes, a copying machine, a scanner and a PC.

5. JOB KNOWLEDGE: Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook), knowledge of Embassy hierarchy, Office procedures and correspondence formats.
