Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Assist the key staff to direct and execute Arzuâ€™s operations in Afghanistan and to achieve all project objectives.
â€¢ Assist with project monitoring in Bamyan, Andkhoi and Kabul activities.
â€¢ Travel to project sites as needed.
â€¢ Conduct selected visits to weaver homes (â€œsocial auditsâ€) in order to: 1) verify payments to weavers, 2) verify compliance with Arzuâ€™s education requirements, 3) obtain feedback on the health care benefits, and 4) obtain general feedback on the Arzu program.
â€¢ Participate in new weaver registrations and family updates.
â€¢ Provide research on projects, partners and opportunities as necessary.
Information Management/ Reporting
â€¢ Prepare reports for on critical project objectives, important events and problems, in cooperation with the key staff.
â€¢ Help prepare monthly education and healthcare field reports.
â€¢ Help maintain detailed records and tracking sheets in all key areas: weaver registration forms, carpet flows, education and health care.
â€¢ Translation from English to Dari, and vice versa is required.
Networking/ Managing Relationships
â€¢ Attend meetings and trainings and report findings back to Arzu team.
â€¢ Follow up with projects and networks made outside of the office, with International orgs, NGOs, govt. ministries and private sector.
1. Graduated from 12 class, holding bachelor degree is preferred.
2. Minimum 3-5 years work experience with NGOs
3. Fluent Dari and English
4. Good teamwork abilities
5. Good computer skills.
