Skills Description:

-         At least five years of working experience. Technical GBV knowledge,

-         Fluency in English, Dari and Pushto language with expertise to generate reports

-         Ability to develop, manage and implement project plan and activities in security compromised areas

-         Strong interpersonal, communication and coordination skills

-         Ability to travel to rural locations in province.

-         Ability to work alongside others under stressful conditions in conflict-prone situations

-         Team player


Duties & Responsibilities:

·        Support the AfGBVSC in the overall GBVSC coordination including development of detailed activities plan and support in implementation;

·        Develop, conduct and facilitate/support GBVSC project’s orientation/inception/introductory meetings, quarterly reviews and information sharing with concerned stakeholders/levels;

·        Identify bottlenecks, suggest possible solutions and coordinate to mitigate issues which hinder the GBV coordination in terms of reporting and analysis;

·        Support the development of capacity building action plan based on field consultations;

·        Conduct field missions and prepare field missions and other reports;

·        Coordinate with the AfGBVSC members on monthly/quarterly reporting in ReportHub and analysis;

·        Coordinate with the ReportHub and arrange members’ capacity building on ReportHub/reporting;

·        Analysis of AfGBVSC members’ ongoing/completed interventions per the GBV outputs and indicators in HNO/HRP;

·        Coordinate and arrange for AfGBVSC monthly skype call meetings with regional AfGBVSC leads;

·        Develop and circulate quarterly AfGBVSC newsletter based on the updates of members;

·        Support in quarterly mapping of GBV services across the country;

·        Manage and update AfGBVSC social media ad knowledge repository;

·        Coordinate and arrange AfGBVSC monthly meetings, prepare and circulate meeting notes;

·        Establishes and maintains good working/professional relations with the governmental authorities;

·        to promote coordination, participate in all relevant coordination meetings as well as collaboration;

·        Serve as bridge to facilitate and follow up on GBV cases for all stakeholders; 

·        Assist in the oversight and implementation of the of HNO/HRP M&E plan for AfGBVSC;

·        Develop monthly and quarterly reports;

·        Based on the already developed templates, document and furnish lesson learnt, best practices and challenges faced for the knowledge management as well as cross-fertilization.
