Job Summary

Implementation of agricultural activities, Development of Mission East in Takhar

Duties & Responsibilities

1.Monitoring, reporting and evaluation of Mission East projects - including written reports in English and Dari – as requested by senior management.
2.Responsibility towards coordination and training of staff assigned to agricultural projects.
3.To represent Mission East at regional agricultural coordination meetings, as requested by senior management.
4.To contribute into strategy development in relation to livelihood improvement, rural social organization and common property resource management
5.To assist Mission East senior management with other tasks as necessary.
6.Work in accordance with the procedures and guidelines laid down in the “Mission East Field Security Manual.”
7.Act in a professional and appropriate manner at all times.
8.Distribution of seeds, fertilizers and tools among beneficiaries. Beneficiary distribution list should be prepared and signed by relevant beneficiaries, shuras and relevant district authorities
9.Conducting and organizing training sessions for project beneficiaries
10.Conducting pre and post project surveys in field, doing data entry and generating reports
11.Monitoring agriculture activities in field and providing technical support to relevant beneficiaries on a regular basis
12.Collecting and sharing information on all ongoing agriculture activities with relevant head of agriculture at the end of each month and assisting him /her in drafting monthly progress and donor reports
13.Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with district authorities, shuras and community representatives and keeping them in loop about relevant agriculture activities
14.To be responsible to do any other task given by agriculture coordinator

Job Requirements

1-University degree preferred.
2-Proven ability to manage all Agricultures functions and processes.
3-The Ability to work in systematic and organized manner.
4- English is an advantage
5- Good knowledge and skill of computer in MS Office.
6-Ability to work proactively, a self starter.
