Job Summary

Scope of work:
The Finance and Accounting Support Staff will support the activities related to providing financial and accounting advice to KED and DABS with the development of the new Chart of Accounts and improved financial reporting as well as with development of a new financial management system. This could include policies, procedures, audit reviews, accounting and financial management systems, and training.

Duties & Responsibilities

Specific Duties:
•Support the FM advisors with various financial management activities including but not limited preparation of trail balance for a substation
•Assist with preparation of and reconciliation on monthly and quarterly basis of bank statements
•Gather data from varios Depts and use it in development of financial reports
•Analyze financial data to ensure the development of complete, valid and timely financial information
•Provide input into the development of quarterly consolidated financial statements
•Promote compliance with the best practices
•Monitor the maintenance of the asset register and corresponding depreciation accounts
•Perform other related work as assigned

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
•2 years working experience in the related field
•Diploma/Degree in Financial Management
•Fluent in English and local languages
•Computer knowledge
