The incumbent of this position is responsible to conduct door to door survey in order to identify vulnerable and interested women for Cash for work project in the catchments area. Explain the aim and objective of the program to the beneficiaries. The assistant community worker will conduct the follow up of the activities. The Assistant community worker will conduct needs Assessment, baseline surveys and maintain good relation with the communities. For better performance of the incumbent duties ACF is obliged to have full information about CARE vision, mission and core values.
Conduct surveys to identify eligible project participant in district , 06 and 13 of Kabul City.
ï‚§ Assist the community facilitators in the target
communities, so that they understand projec
intervention criteria, procedures and policy
and inspire them to actively play their role.
ï‚§ Home visits of beneficiaries to check their
qualifications for program participation.
ï‚§ Create the sense of self- sufficiency among the
women.
ï‚§ Assist and co-operate the community facilitators in
order to mobilize in Participating in cash
for work activities.
Find suitable places for placement for project
participant Introduce the interested women whom are
according specific criteria to project deferent
project sites.
2.Facilitate in establishment of a knowledge and information sharing channel to communities and
project participants,
Monitor the women participation in the cash for
work activities at the different sites and in their
homes.
Establishes and develops good mutual understanding,
cooperation and trust between CARE and the target

regular basis.

ï‚§ Collect accurate and reliable data and information
when needed.
ï‚§ Explain the process of data collection to the
community people in a way to avoid bearing any
misunderstanding.
ï‚§ Be sensitive about the communities' cultures and
tradition.
ï‚§ Maintain good relation with the communities
ï‚§ Ensure that no discrimination has been made among
the different classes of the communities' people.
ï‚§ Be impartial in any conflict among the community
women and try to transforming/solving it.

EDUCATION: High School
WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum of at least one year community related activities.
SKILLS: The incumbent should have negotiation and communication skill, report writing
LANGUAGES: Perfect knowledge of both spoken and written Pashto and Dari.
General:
Being resident of district 6 and 13.
Willing to work in long hours, interest to work with vulnerable people, ability to work in difficult conditions, honest, creative, flexible and patient, good negotiation and interviewing skills.
