About Equity Capital Mining LLC:
Equity Capital Mining (ECM) LLC. is a precious gems and marble extraction company headquartered in Dubai, UAE and with offices in Afghanistan and United States of America. The owners of the company are two gemmologists named Mr. Adam Doost and Mr. Nasim Doost who have 35 years experience in the field of mining and extraction. ECM was incorporated in Afghanistan as a limited partnership company in January 2006 and started its commercial operations in February 2007. The Company acquired 10 years renewable exclusive mining right from the Government of Afghanistan to mine the White Dove marble quarry located in the town of Chesth-i-Sharif (Heart province).
To provide contract monitoring for various corporate contracts and effective administrative support to the Contracts and Procurement Unit team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Act as the main telephone and email contact point for queries on managed contracts and general procurement enquiries.
-Monitor the performance of various corporate contracts including hospitality and cleaning. Recording performance indicator scores from suppliers, measure service improvement data, keeping accurate records of expenditure and the calculation of discounts.
-Administer the process of pre-qualification of suppliers for Council contracts.
-Assist Contract and Procurement Manager with all aspects of sourcing and procurement activity and once trained to procure some contracts under supervision.
-Administer the Councilâ€™s supplier database.
-Deal with incoming and outgoing post, record receipts of publications and filing.
-Organise team diaries, co-ordinate meetings including booking venues and sending invitations, attend and take minutes if required. This includes regular meetings with contractors, site visits with clients, meetings with other service areas and team meetings.
-Assist the Contract and Procurement Officer with service budgets including raising requisitions for supplies and services, payment of invoices, keeping commitment accounts and monitoring spend.
-Contribute to the overall service, suggesting and implementing ideas for continuous improvement including attending training courses as appropriate to maintain effective knowledge of support systems and processes.
-Fellowship/diploma in relevant field.
-The successful candidate will be expected to attend a formal course of study leading to professional qualification.
-Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule.
