Audit Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

- To identify and assess potential risks to bank’s operations.
-To develop, implement and oversee internal audit methods and procedures.
-To develop and control an efficient internal audit program.
-To review the adequacy of control established to ensure compliance with policies,
plans, procedures and business objectives.
-To review established procedures and systems and propose improvements.
-To fulfill the objectives of internal audit.
-To utilize the internal resources to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of
The internal audit function.
-To maintain appropriate auditing standards.
- To follow up recommendations to make sure that effective remedial action is taken.
-To carry out ad hoc appraisals, investigation or review requested by theManagement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or other business related field;
Professional certification, such as CIA/CBA/CPA/CISA/CFE/ACCA is desirable;
Professional Audit certification is highly desirable
Experience:
7-10years of progressively responsible experience in public accounting firm or in internal audit at a financial institution;
Have senior Audit Director Experience and Qualified with a solid track record of delivering quality audit services within an audit firm;
Experience auditing operating systems, databases, networks, and other technological areas;

In depth knowledge of financial and operations audit;
Strong knowledge of standard audit practices and ability to apply them;
Ability to develop a comprehensive internal audit program for a bank;
Excellent analytical skills and attention to details;
Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures;
Good risk management skills and experience;
Thorough understanding of the afghan banking law and regulations;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
High ethical standards and integrity in both their personal and professional dealings;
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
