Job Summary

BSS Technician responsibility is to assist the BSS engineering team for overall O&M and rollout project of Radio Access Network.

Duties & Responsibilities

•    Work as a part of O&M and roll out team in Herat Province
•    Carry on the installation and deployment work activities under the supervision of responsible BSS Engineer.
•    Regular O&M and pre-emptive check up of antenna/feeder system, water proofing.
•    Clean up the sites equipment is timely manner
•    Handling the Spare/faulty part to and from the store by the approval of BSS Manager.
•    Handling the BTS software and LMT software for local maintenance
•    Working in response with the customer complains for different location.
•    Interact with NOC engineers and providing the technical support for alarm rectification.
•    Prepare and submit report of day to day activities to the BSS Engineer
•    Need to work with other departments in various times to get the work done in proper and timely manner.

Job Requirements

Diploma in Electrical and Electronics, Computer Science & Engineering, Telecommunication, or related subject area from well-known institute with minimum 6 years of experience in Telecom service provider as Technician/rigger.

• Hardworking and willing to do the work outside in harsh condition.
• Willing to travel to the remote part of the country.
•   Ager to stay in provinces/regions for sack of work activities.
•   Self-motivated and eager to learn the new technologies.
•    Experiences with installation
•    Must have the experience of climbing tower/mast and knowledge of safety requirements.
