Job Summary

Corrections System Support Program (CSSP) is helping Afghanistan improve its Corrections system by providing technical assistance, advice and training to Afghanistan Corrections system professionals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assist with the development of training materials for the CPD budget and financial departments. Facilitate familiarization with the CPD budget and financial departments as well as implementation of a facilities training schedule for those departments. Provide advice on strategies, policies and plans affecting the CPD budget and financial departments, delivery of practice advisory, and on knowledge and learning services relating to those departments. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

MUST speak, read and write (fluently) Dari, Pashtu and English Languages.
Familiarity with program design, monitoring and evaluation tools and methodologies Strong inter-personal, cultural and diplomatic skills Ability to work effectively as part of team, Organized approach with ability to work on several different projects;Minimum high school diploma. Degree in accountancy, finance or economics preferred.One to three (1–3) years’ practical experience as a member of a finance department with an international NGO or UN agencies.Computer literacy, including proven experience with computerized accounting packages, word processing and spreadsheets (preferably Word and Excel). Good organizational and communication skills.Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, ability to work in a multi-cultural environment, with respect, professionalism and gender sensitivity.
