Supervise the assessment activities of your team
Mission 1: Supervise the assessment activities of your team
Activities:
Organize the planning of the members of your team in order to carry out the assessments, the trainings and the distributions respecting the objectives defined by the Program Manager.
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, coordinate and liaise with local communities and authorities of the intervention area.
Supervise and control the quality of completed questionnaires (KAP, Households registration) and correct the errors before handing them back to Program Manager.
Keep in mind the errors made by your team in order to build their capacity during the trainings.
Produce assessment, training and distribution reports according to developed formats.
Ensure that data have well been captured on database.
Mission 2: Supervision of the beneficiary targeting
Activities:
Supervise the targeting activity and ensure that the beneficiaries targeted respect the defined criteria.
Under supervision of the Program Manager, ensure communication with Partners on our targeting in order to ensure cohesion in correct targeting, no duplication, avoid exclusion, and proper timing of response.
Ensure the good registration of the targeted beneficiaries.
Mission 3: To ensure the availability of the different items needed for the plan distribution
Activities:
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, always be sure that the items needed for distribution are available in the stock.
Under the supervision of the Program manager ensure the good and rapid transportation of items to the distribution sites and ensure the well reception of the items and their storage.
Identify strategic depot/distribution points
Ensure the security of the distribution points
Mission 4: Organize and supervise distribution activities (Hygiene and safe drinking water kits)
Activities:
Collaboration with Program Manager to prepare the beneficiary lists for distributions.
Supervise and ensure proper items distribution to people targeted according to ACF protocols
Supervise the beneficiary identity control during the distribution;
Supervise the good filing of the beneficiaries registration lists
Responsible of the link/contact with the local partners (beneficiaries, local authorities, other NGOs, community leaders) during the distribution implementation,
Ensure dynamism and good interaction with beneficiaries and communities, intervene in cases of issue and pass the information to the PM when needed.
Produce and send a distribution reports to the PM after each distribution
Suggest the possible improvement in terms of distribution
Mission 5: Supervise the different beneficiary sensitization and awareness
Activities:
Supervise the beneficiary attendance at the sensitization and awareness ;
Supervise the efficiency of the sensitization (relevancy of the messages, participative method, practical demonstration)
Supervise the good filing of the beneficiaries Registration lists
Mission 6: Operational Team management
Activities:
Manage six (6) WASH Promoters during all the project life and at all the stage (assessment, distribution, sensitization, monitoring)
Identify the team training needs
Support the PM to the training of the team on data collection, distribution, awareness and sensitization.
Diploma in relevant field
At least 5 year of working experience related to humanitarian interventions
Strong previous experience in assessment
Strong previous experience in Emergency projects (CBI / NFI Hygiene kits distribution, wash awareness)
Previous experience in sensitive projects, problem-solving with beneficiaries.
Strong experience in humanitarian environment
Very good organisational, planning and reactivity skills
Very good team management and supervision skills
Good representation skills
Good negotiation skills
Knowledge and previous experience in project cycle management
Languages: Fluent in English (written, spoken, read). Fluent in Dari (written, spoken, read)
Good computer skills (Microsoft office package, internet)
Good redaction skills
Very good analytical, organisational and planning skills
Good pedagogical skills
Good management capacities and team leadership spirit
