Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and articulate a comprehensive tactical business development plan to accomplish the organization’s Business goal
  • Identify, evaluate and develop new business opportunities
  • Work with and expand current prospect database within specified business sectors to generate effective leads and potential new markets
  • Locate or propose potential business deals, discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Develop negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations, examining risks and potentials, estimating partners' needs and goals
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to developing current/new business opportunities
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to build relationships with key Business prospects

Qualifications:

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration required a master’s degree is preferred

·        4-5 years relevant work experience 

·        Excellent prospecting, networking, persuasion, negotiation, and research skills

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dari and or Pashto (including presentations)

·        High level of computer literacy, including word-processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and the Internet

·        Initiative and strong decision-making skills

·        Ability to think strategically

·        Highly numerate with strong ability in financial analysis, forecasting, project costing, preparing and monitoring budgets

·        Excellent planning, organizational and administrative skills
