Job Summary:
The instructor is responsible for conducting the class according to the teaching plan. He/she should be punctual and should teach according to the established curriculum in such a manner that students can take maximum benefit.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assist in preparation of semester teaching plan for his/her subject
2. Assist in preparation of complete teaching hand-out (out-line) for his/her subject
3. Assist in preparation of daily teaching plan
4. Preparation of in time teaching material according to the teaching plan
5. Attending every class with the current teaching plan
6. Effective teaching according to the established curriculum
7. Being punctual and making sure of student's academic progress
8. Start the class on time and also leave the class on time
9. Take the attendance every day
10. Provide a good learning atmosphere for students
11. Helping students in solving their problems
12. Devise extra-curricular activities for the students to improve their weaknesses
13. Taking care of attendance, class progress, exams etc.
14. Work in a team with all the staff
15. Undertake any other task assigned by the Head of department, and other top management
16. Ensure excellent quality of training and practices
17. Ensure the regular and timely teaching progress reports are prepared and submitted to the Head of Department
18. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings
19. Maintaining good working relations with other colleagues and authorities
20. Maintaining proper and effective class management
21. Assist the Head of the Department in developing and implementing action plans
Job Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in his/her related field of teaching from a recognized university
Able to assess students level of knowledge and prepare teaching materials accordingly
Ability to explain properly and lead the students on his teaching topic
Able to work under stress and perform well under pressure
Excellent team player, punctual and creative
Excellent communication skill and strong personality
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Excellent people skills, integrity and ability to work with minimum supervision
Hard working, reliable, honest and responsible
