Job Summary:

Sky Travel and Tours is looking for a Call Operator that will be able to liaison between our company and its current and potential customer. The job holder is responsible to answer incoming calls from customer who want to place orders, respond to inquiries, manage complaints, troubleshoot significant customer service problems, provide information, and make appointment and conduct follow up.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Answering incoming calls and respond to the customer’s email

Handle customer inquiries both telephonically and by email

Manage and resolve customer complaints, and provide product and service information to the customer

Sells additional services by recognizing opportunities to up-sell accounts; explaining new features.

Maintain call center database by entering information

Process orders, forms, and application

Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

Contact businesses and private individuals by phone

Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner

Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solution and/or alternatives

Deliver prepared sales scripts to persuade potential customers to purchase a product or service

Seize opportunities to upsell products when they arise, and build sustainable relationship with customer

Complete records of telephonic interaction, orders and accounts

Job Requirement:

High school diploma or equivalent

At least one year of work experience in a call center or customer service environment

Proficiency in MS office applications, and fluency in English and local languages (Dari & Pashto) in both forms verbal and written

Knowledge of customer service principle and practices

Knowledge of call center telephony and technology

Verbal and written communication skills

Customer service orientation, and problem solving skills

Attention to detail, and good judgmental and teamwork skills

Listening Skills, ability to multi task, set priorities and manage time effectively

Adaptability to different personality types
