Job Summary

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure that graduates have employment interviews and that a high percentage of graduates acquire employment in their field of study.
  • Provides career advising expertise to students and alumni regarding the job search process, interviewing, resume and letter writing, and all other facts of career planning conducts workshop, seminars, and other presentation to student’s employer, and alumni group.
  • Frequent use if telephone call to graduates and employer is required.
  • Maintain all graduates career services work record.
  • Ensure that required reports are completed accurately and timely, presented to the requesting VC student affairs.
  • Schedule mock- interviews with employee in timely manner.
  • Ensure all students receive s minimum of two mock–interview as requirement to graduates.
  • Participate and assist in all formal graduation.
  • Responsible for fiscal planning and management for career services, including all operation and staffing matters.
  • Develop new contacts with external organization for the purpose of expending employment opportunities for students and alumni.
  • Reviews and supervise the on- campus recruitment and interviewing process as we as resume referral and job- listing service for current student as well as alumni .coordinates and supervise staff professional development workshop, seminars and conferences.
  • Closely coordinate communicate communication with deans, departments chairs and other faculty to ensure that the career service department is meeting the needs and desire of the academic colleges and departments, within the limitation imposed by the size of the staff and financial support provided by the university.
  • Maintaining filing system for faculty member (PERSONAL FILES).
  • Any other duties assigned by the administration.

Job Requirements

Bachelor but Master, will be preferred


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent language proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English
  • 3 years of relevant experience in this position
