Job Summary:

ROLE OBJECTIVE :

1. To, manage, control the Finance department, finalize the Annual Report as per IFRS standard, manage the compliance related to Taxation and provide robust MIS to BoM, BoS and Departments.
2. To submit the regulatory returns within the deadline.
To assist the Management in taking decision related to Accounting
Policy, Taxation, and other related matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. To, manage, control the Finance department, finalize the Annual Report as per IFRS standard, manage the compliance related to Taxation and provide robust MIS to BoM, BoS and Departments.
2. To submit the regulatory returns within the deadline.
To assist the Management in taking decision related to Accounting Policy,
Taxation, and other related matters

1. To apprise the Management and staff members on latest development in Accounting, Taxation and other related areas.
2. Ensure operational effectiveness of the Department in liaison with BoM and BoS.
3. Assist Management in framing critical decisions by providing inputs, analysis results etc.
4. To control and supervise compliance of systems , procedures and regulations for internal working of the Finance section as per Bank’s policy , procedures ,DAB and other regulatory authorities.
5. To arrange to prepare all reports, statements, Forms and returns required to be submitted to DAB, Auditors and other Authorities within the designated period.
6. To ensure proper payment of Taxes and filing of returns.
7. To manage and control members of Finance section for the smooth functioning of the Department work while maintaining discipline amongst them.
8. To train and educate staff of the Department.
9. To supervise correct maintenance of day book, general ledger, suspense payment and other books pertaining to Accounts Department.
10. To prepare necessary data for drawing up of business plan of the Bank.
11. To obtain and arrange Auditor’s Report and Audited financial report of every closing of Accounts.
12. To execute any other job which may be assigned from time to time.
13. Develop a team culture where the staff accomplishes the objectives of the Department with a spirit of achievement and success through joint effort and mutual co-operation.
14. Ensure periodic job rotation of staff and develop their multitasking skills and to ensure their professional growth.
15. Assessment of training requirements of the staff and communication of the same to HR Department to enable the staff to acquire desired skills and competencies required for the job.
16. Actively engage the staff in performance feedback and counseling on regular basis to achieve desired results as per the objectives of the Department/Bank.
