Job Summary

The Chef will be reporting to Admin Manager;

Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise the kitchen staff and staff are performing their duties accordingly;
Delegate duties to kitchen staff as per the menu requirements
Ability to prepare American, Italia, Chines and Indian Cuisine
Prepare healthy meal in hygienic and appealing manner;
Plan menus and uniform quality and quality of food is served;
Ensure meals are prepared on time and sufficient quantity
Maintain stock level of all kitchen supplies as per menu
Ensure high standard of sanitation and cleanness are maintain in kitchen;
Strictly follow kitchen safety standards;
Check freshness food, vegetable and other ingredient;
Identify the need for kitchen and inform the supervisor accordingly;
Keep the toxic materials away from the kitchen;
Ensure that fire extinguisher is available in kitchen;
Ensure proper ventilation of air in kitchen so that preparation of meal does not cause discomfort to others;
Obey the policy of HUB Television and Radio and adjust with its culture;
Develop and maintain good relationship with all staff members;
Perform any other duties delegated by supervisor/senior staff.

Job Requirements

High school is the minimum requirement
Very good in English, Pashto and Dari, both oral and written.
Must be honest, well mannered and neat in appearance.
