Job Summary

-C.F.O. Job Requirements:
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a corporate officer primarily responsible for managing the financial risks of PASHTANY BANK. The officer is also responsible for financial planning and record-keeping, as well as financial reporting. The CFA reports to the chief executive officer.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintaining and ensuring street regulatory compliance related to financial reporting and disclosure practices in line with prudential requirement of central bank (Da Afghanistan Bank).
• Preparation of monthly quarterly and annually progress report on financial performance of the bank to the executive management and CEO.
• Proposing and implement any required accounting measures which correspondently strengthens the accounting tools and techniques within the bank.
• Placing checks and balances in different accounting areas to strengthen transparency in financial disclosure and reporting.
• Supervision of accounting, planning and budget staff.
• Responsible for all financial statements, record keeing, analysis, budget and other duties typical in such position.

Job Requirements

Candidates with an MBA in finance or accounting preferred. CPA or CA required. A minimum of 7 years accounting/finance experience, preferrebly in banking sector required.
