Job Summary:

 Assisting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) in developing the Islamic Banking Window’s policies & guidelines

Skills Description:

– Excellent written and verbal communication Skills
– Through knowledge of Islamic Baking industry, AAOIFI standards
– Understanding of trading and operational processes of Islamic Banking and Conventional
– Strong Leadership and internal personnel abilities
– Advanced knowledge of Financial Management

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Develop yearly Business Plans and schedules and proposed capacity plan for the Islamic Banking Window
 Define and Articulate the Islamic Banking Window’s vision and to develop strategies for achieving that vision
 Ensuring the Bank’s adherence to DAB guidelines & standards
 Manage the day to day operations of the Islamic Banking Window’
 Liaise continuously with other departments in the Bank to ensure comprehensive coordination
 Ensure coordination with the Sharia Board/ or Sharia Advisor in endorsing the products and services provided by the Islamic Banking Window

 Provide Progress reports to the CEO and the Board Directors

 Adopt high ethical standards and integrity in both his personal and professional dealings

Job Location:

 Education: MA or BA in Islamic Banking, Business Administration, Finance Law, Economics or Islamic Shariah, Accounting, Marketing, Banking or Risk Management. Professional training or certificates in Islamic related field
 Experience: At Least 5 Years of Progressive management experience within the Islamic banking industry, and at least worked for 3 years on product development and investment level
