Job Summary

Assist the Child Rights Coordinator in collecting data and information from CRC III partners, analysis the data and information collected and share it with CRC III partners.

Duties & Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities
Assist the Child Rights Coordinator in collecting data and information from CRC III partners, analysis the data and information collected and share it with CRC III partners.
Main Duties:
CRC data base officer is responsible to:
- Develop and operate "ad hoc" database and maintain updated the gathered data and manage information on CRC III level
- Collect data and information from CRC III partners on timely manner (monthly base)
- Establish measures/systems for effective entry of data and assurance of system accuracy.
- Sort, filter and analysis database information to generate statistics for monthly and quarterly reports
- Produce specialized statistical progress reports and lists of bench marks to be achieved
- Develop schedules for timely backup of information from the databases and update
- Organization of internal and external information sharing led by the CRC III or Tdh
- To maintain relations with CRC III partners on central and as well as on provincial level
- Any other tasks requested by CRC III Coordinator or to fill gaps of missing staff members inside the coordination team.
- Work closely with the responsible person, based in Lausanne, to put in place the E-platform for CRC III

ï‚§ Communication: Ensure a good relation with the donor, especially with the national persons
ï‚§ Represent CRC III towards donors and important stakeholders with or without the CRC III Coordinator, depending on the needs (CRC III Coordinator decision)

Child right Consortium.
Reporting: To provide inputs to the CRC III Coordinator and CRC III General Coordination Officer for the quarterly activity reports for the CRC III and MoLSAMD and EC and monthly report for Terre des hommes that have to be sent to the CRC’s Coordinator.

Job Requirements

Education
Bachelor degree in Information Technology (ICT) or other relevant field or
At least having a diploma in IT management and maintenance

Experience
a minimum of three years of proven experience in related field
good verbal communication skill
ability to prioritize work according to needs

Knowledge, Skills and abilities
• Fluency in written and oral Dari Pashto and English, knowing the principles of the Child Protection (UNCRC)
• Proven initiative, flexibility and pro activity
• Be self-organizer and self starter.
• Be able to work in a team
• Flexibility to travel to field (Mazar, Herat, Kandahar, Jalalabad) when required
• Propose and promote new ideas and approaches
• Be able to facilitate discussions with authorities
• Well organized and analytic person
• Pedagogic skills for presentations and teachings
• Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
