Action Aid furthers its mission in Afghanistan through long term development projects with sponsorship funding as well as short and medium term donor funded projects aligned to the overall mission, principles and values of ActionAid.

Job Summary:

Ensure that sponsorship communication (report) is best managed to donors (Funding Affiliates) and support in the smooth working of the Child Sponsorship Unit of ActionAid Afghanistan.

Duties & Responsibilities:

•Planning sponsorship communications to ensure timely completion of community and annual reports
•Preparing Communication Material to enable a timely production of reports
•Liaison with donors and programme staff for new project site (Development Area) selection and phase out
•Capacity building for program and Sponosrhsip staffs to enhance their communication technical skills
•Ensure regular usage of sponsorship database to provide support to the team
•Any other responsibility assigned by the line manager as and when required
