Job Summary

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience in the same field. He should be able to work under minimum supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

Project /Practice Management:

• Prepare detailed designs.
• Check/ review completed designs, vendor designs, and designs done by the design contractor in accordance to the project specifications, standards, and quality.
• Prepare material take- off and basic design calculations to support the design work.
• Prepare a cost estimate in detail. Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, and labor to determine project feasibility.
• Prepare reports.
• Evaluate progress of project to make sure time schedules are being met.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, and aerial photography to plan projects.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirement:

Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 3 years progressively relevant professional work experience.
Other Skills: Knowledge of American Standard Codes.
Knowledge of design Techniques, Tools, and Principals involved in production of Precision Technical plans, Blueprints, Drawings, and models.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the Construction or Repair or houses, buildings, and other structures such as highways and Roads.
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
Strong organization, interpersonal and Communication skills.
Must be computer literate.
Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Ability to work in harsh environments and under pressure.
Language Skills: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English and Dari/Pashtu.
Computer Skills: Proficiency in the use of computer, office software packages.
