Job Summary:

Civil Engineer is responsible observing of OFC and other project on site ,combination/coordination with related team on site and NRD management ,coordination with all related teams, weekly/daily reporting, inspection, monitoring ,flowing project tasks by daily bases ,tripping to all regions which advised by line manager , project checklists & drafting.  

This job requires the individual to work closely with multiple teams and operate in field which may consist of difficult terrain. The individual should be able to handle high pressure situations and be analytical to successfully perform the assigned responsibilities. It is preferred that individual is well versed with local language to coordinate with local labours.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Monitoring and inspection of OFC and other AWCC projects as per project specification and drawings.

Coordinate with AWCC team, vendor engineers and project stockholder & community 

Preparing of daily and weekly report and submit to line manager 

Survey and make report in power point format from OFC and other AWCC projects.

Preparing of projects first & final checklists    

Organizing materials and ensuring sites are safe and clean.

Preparing cost estimates and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.

Providing technical advice and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.

Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment as required.

Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best contracts.

Authorizing technical drawings and engineering plans.

Drawing up work schedules and communicating any adjustments to crew members and clients.

Gathering data, compiling reports, and delivering presentations to relevant stakeholders.

Delegating tasks and scheduling meetings and training sessions where required.

Completing quality assurance and providing feedback to the NRD civil team

Job Requirement:

Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering ,Construction or similar 

Experience in construction & Telecommunication projects including knowledge of various telecommunication products, services and technologies.

Additional certificates or licenses may be required.

Sound knowledge of Engineering, construction, and design.

Great leadership and organizational skills.

Superb project management skills.

Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to projects.

Great written and verbal communication skills.

A willingness to learn.

Fluency in Dari ,English & Pashto

Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with limited supervision

Proficient in Microsoft office ,Ms Project,P6, Auto Cad ,SAB,ETAB and other Engineering Applications

Ability to survey with Level ,theodolite & GPS 

5 years of experience in the required field (Letter Required).
