The Government of Afghanistan has established a new initiative called Asan Khedmat, which operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication, Information Technology (MCIT), and is a one-stop shop for public services. Asan Khedmat will contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the Afghan Government and enhance the responsiveness to the needs of the Afghan citizen. The center will deliver quality services in an inexpensive and timely manner and improve the relation between the citizens and the government. The effect will be to strengthen the democratic system in Afghanistan.

The government of Azerbaijan will provide technical support in all aspects of this initiative. 

The development and implementation of the initiative will involve:

1.                 Construction of an administration building and the Asan Khedmat Centers in Kabul and throughout the country. 

2.                 Training

3.                 Administrative structures and capacity building

4.                 Information Technology

5.                 Process simplification of public services

Job Summary

The position involves supporting and assisting the Asan Khedmat administration team. The cleaner is expected assist other support staff in ensuring the premises is clean and tidy. The support staff/cleaner is expected to carry out below outlined responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities

The Cleaner will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

1.                 Clean and hoover the work premises

2.                 Clean and hoover the offices, as well as clean table tops and collect excess rubbish

3.                 Ensure that bins are emptied and other rubbish is taken out of the building and places in large dustbins

4.                 Ensure that bathroom remain clean and hygienic

5.                 Windows and other areas are to be kept clean

6.                 Collect cups/mugs and other cutlery at the end of the day for washing

7.                 Other cleaning duties as required

8.                 Direct any visitors to correct location

9.                 Must appear for work in formal dress and behave professionally

Job Requirements

Following experience and qualifications are required for this position:

1.                 previous experience in working in office environment is a plus

2.                 12th grade or above basic knowledge in reading and writing local languages, English is a plus.

3.                 Must be aware of safe and hygienic use of related cleaning tools
