Job Summary

To be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develops procedures for monitoring the progression of the construction phase of construction projects.

• Monitors project and staff to ensure that projects are progressing according to established procedures.

• Meets with projects designers and contractors to ensure that procedures are followed.

• Prepare reports for management or client indicating procedure adherence and project progress.

• Ensures periodic inspection of construction activities and complies non compliance reports as appropriate.

• Ensures that contractors are in compliance with project plans and specifications

• Monitors quality of work done by contractors and quality of materials used on site.

• Evaluates progress of project to determine if time schedules are being met.

• Administers information document flow from and to contractor and ensures timely appropriate responses and actions accordingly.

• Administers change order process and claims process with contractor and ensures sound contract management practices are employed.

• Strives to ensure project time and cost objectives are met.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering.

•Incumbent generally has at least 5 years of related experience, including field experience and 5 years in a supervisory role.

• Incumbent managed to large projects.
