Responsible for coordinating the day to day activities of associated functions like Training, Financial Management, HR Management and ICT.
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Manage and implement activities that build capacity of municipal government employees in human resources, financial management, and project management;
â€¢ Manage and implement activities that contribute to local job creation and long term economic development;
â€¢ Work side by side with municipal government officials to incorporate citizen input into government decision making;
â€¢ Identify opportunities to involve local NGO and private firms in municipal service delivery;
â€¢ University degree in Business Administration or related fields.
â€¢ Background in training and designing training methodology.
â€¢ 3-5 years of work experience in an equivalent positions. Experience working in a similar position for an NGO or an international organization is preferred.
â€¢ Excellent language skills of Dari, Pashtu and English, both written and spoke.
â€¢ Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.
â€¢ Ability to work under pressure
â€¢ Ability to work with multinational teams
Ability to travel to all provinces of Afghanistan
