Assessment and analysis of reports and exploration plans, technical and economic studies and exploitation of contracting companies
Duties & Responsibilities:
1- Assessment and analysis of reports and exploration plans, technical and economic studies and exploitation of contracting companies.
2- Application of managing contracts in the system
3- Participation in the committee for assessment and analysis of problems between the Ministry and the contracting companies.
4- Assessment and analysis of cadastre, topographic and geological maps of the contracted areas.
5- Sketching and drawing cadastre and topographic maps of natural mines areas.
6- Assessment and analysis of explorative operations of contracting companies.
7- Assessment and analysis of extractive operations of contracting companies.
8- Technical assessment of proposals in mining sector
9- Drafting and creating auction-related documents of mines
10- Other relevant activities that will be assigned by officials in accordance with rules and regulations and in alignment with policies of the Ministry
Bachelor of Science in mining and Master is preferred in this field.
At least 5 years of work experience in relevant fields.
Fluency in English language and Microsoft Office programs
The Incumbent should have sound knowledge of the extractive sector
The Incumbent should have strong written and oral communication and other interpersonal skills
Deputy Ministers, and Directors in a professional manner
The incumbent should be able to represent MoMP in intra-government and non-government meetings, conferences …etc.
The incumbent should have sound presentation skills and ability to present to a large group of audience, national and international
The incumbent should be able to manage and work in working groups
The incumbent should be able to write reports, briefing paper, correspondence, and research paper as required
The incumbent should be fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English
