About Tetra Tech:
â€¢ Directly reports to Facilities Manager
â€¢ Reports to Administration Manager in matters of menu planning and changes to menu
Provinces to travel:
Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Prepares Lunch and dinner in accordance to planned menu.
â€¢ Must be able to prepare international food for expat staff.
â€¢ Sets up food presentation at the serving table
â€¢ Supervises the kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
â€¢ Directs kitchen helper in providing assistance to food preparation
â€¢ Ensures the kitchen is stocked with sufficient food supplies necessary to prepare dinner
â€¢ Prepares purchase requisition of weekly supply for dinner
â€¢ Strictly adheres to RMSI food preparation procedures and hygiene standards of maintaining the kitchen
â€¢ Coordinates with designated buyer for purchase of food supplies
â€¢ Ability to cook American and international cuisine
â€¢ Willingness to learn other cuisines
â€¢ Preferably high school graduate
â€¢ Must have good communication skills (oral and written) in English, Dari and Pashto-.
â€¢ Able to work overtime on weekends or holidays if required
â€¢ At least 1-3 years cooking with international NGOs, or restaurant work experience
â€¢ Must be honest, well mannered, neat in appearance and healthy.
