Senior Cook in Kabul country office, Murad Khani, will be in charge of all kitchen related issues and supervise 1 cook and 2 cook assistant as preparation the meals three times a day, seven days in a week for at least 300-400 national and international staff, organize the food supplies, cleaning the kitchen and dishware, etc.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities:
1. Cooking
To prepare varied and balanced meals for lunch on 12:00
- Cut, slice and prepare vegetables, meat etc for cooking.
- Clean & wash vegetables, fruits & make them ready for service.
- Boil water & making tea.
Ÿ To keep always some stock of food in the kitchen.
Ÿ To supervise kitchen staff to clean daily: kitchen, tables, and dishes. (after each time of meals every day)
Ÿ To keep order into kitchen utensil and equipment.
Ÿ Suggest new food menu from time to time.
Ÿ Clean kitchen basically once a week, (Fridays) after lunch with the support of Cook assistants/cleaners.
Ÿ 2. Other duties:
Ÿ To replace her colleagues in case of absence, such as holidays & illness.
Ÿ Over all responsibilities of the kitchen management
Ÿ Responsible to clear bills of procured food with logistic department every day
