Duties & Responsibilities:
â€¢ Prepare various Afghan foods based on the request/requirement;
â€¢ Preparing food according to schedule given;
â€¢ Washing dishes and kitchen cleaning;
â€¢ Preparing the monthly list of kitchen and storage needs as it deserves a special place in coordination with the Administrative Officer;
â€¢ Non-responsible prevent entry into the kitchen;
â€¢ Check health services and insure availability of necessary materials (tissues, hand wash liquid, dishwashing liquid, etc.)
â€¢ Cooking of International food would be an advantage;
â€¢ Wear cooking uniform;.
â€¢ Purchase groceries and cooking materials from market;
â€¢ Prepare food other then lunch for staff from time to time as requested;
â€¢ Maintain the kitchen and its contents in hygienic condition;
â€¢ Respect rule and regulations of the organization, obey and respect superiors, having honesty, integrity and commitment;
Undertake other tasks may be assigned from time to time by respective supervisor/s.
â€¢ Completion of secondary school;
â€¢ Ability to remain focused under pressure with a commitment to work hard and for long hours;
â€¢ Good character, cooperative and honest;
â€¢ Fluency in spoken on local language Dari.
â€¢ Previous working experience with NGOs and expatriates;
â€¢ Basic English and ability to read/write Dari.
â€¢ Flexible and creative, and it help if you have a sense of humour.
