Job Summary:

Receive and inspect the quality of raw food delivered to ensure freshness of vegetables, fruits, and other materials delivered.
Ensure proper storage of food items.
Ensure spices, key ingredients for cooking of food are available in the kitchen
Clean-up of kitchen equipment, utensils and dishes.
Prepare, cook, garnish of the presentation of food.
Ensure sanitation practices to ensure the kitchen is kept clean and hygiene maintained at all times.
Prepare requisition for food and other supplies required to keep kitchen operational.
Meet with residents to discuss menus for special occasions.
Ensure the kitchen expenses remain within the monthly budget.
Cook different cuisines for lunch and dinners.
Perform any other task as assigned by the line manager.

Job Requirement:

1. worked in similar position for International NGO’s and foreign companies with 5 years of experience
2. Secondary Education or Higher with ability to communicate in Dari and English.
