The Data Analysis Officer will work for the APRP
• Collect, analyze and prepare reports
• Assist the Head of the Policy unit in organizing and maintaining an efficient filing system
• Assist the Policy Unit in preparing regular 100 day action plans
• Assist the Head of the Policy Unit in drafting, guidelines, procedures and other necessary letters/documents
• Receive progress reports on the 100 day actions achieved from each department and compile them for quarterly reporting to be presented at the JCMB
• Assist in maintaining communications with all departments in the center and provinces
• Assist in preparing reports of events/meetings related to policy issues
• Analyze the data collected extracting general results and sectorial statistics for monthly reports and possible publications.
• Prepare reports in different formats e.g. tabular, and narrative.
• Ensure, coordinate and implement security measures to safeguard information in computer files against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure.
• Work with operation staff on the Management of the Afghanistan Reintegration Tracking System tools and provide coaching as and when modifications to the system are introduced, as well as to new colleagues unfamiliar with the MIS operation tools.
• Facilitate, coordinate and help towards promoting a culture of efficient service including liaising with the other members of the organization
• Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments for instance Excel, Microsoft Access
• Perform any other related duty as assigned by the Management.

Education:
• College/University degree in Information systems, Business Administration, economics, or public administration is preferable
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in database management and development.
• Ability to work with numbers
• Ability to run and operate database systems
• Fluency in Dari, Pashto and knowledge of English language is required (writing and reading)
• Strong ability to prioritize work load and meet simultaneous and competing deadlines.
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work long hours when required
Language Requirements:
• Fluent in Dari/Pashto is required.
• Good knowledge of English language is a requirement
• Knowledge of other local languages will be an advantage
