National SkillsThe Women’s Economic Empowerment National Priority Program (WEE-NPP) works to provide enabling environment for women’s economic empowerment by improving the quality and use of gender statistics, provision of training on job skills and financial literacy, provide financial support to women-owned businesses, reforming policy and planning and reducing regulatory barriers to women’s involvement in the market through 14 Ministries and Agencies. Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs (MoLSA) has formed a specialized Women’s Economic Empowerment Coordination Office to support the implementing ministries and agencies as they implement the program. Currently the functions of the PCO is funded through World Bank Program Preparation Grant (PPG).

WEE-NPP and Citizen’s Charter are jointly working to turn manual Women’s Mobility Maps into digital database. The purpose of this position is to work to lead the transferring of manual Women’s Mobility Map developed by Citizen’s Charter National Priority Program into a digital database.
What is Women’s Mobility Map?
Women Mobility Map is one of the Citizen’s Charter participatory tools used in the social mobilization for the communities which is done with the women’s members of the community from poor and very poor households in order to identify women’s movement in their Mohallas (communities), villages, districts, provinces and beyond and with whom they move (alone, with other women, with moharrams) and how frequently they go there.
The potential use of the Women’s Mobility Map include
Scope of the assignment:
The Data Digitization and Analysis Officer will work as an employee of WEE-NPP under direct supervision of CCAP MIS department and reporting to WEE-NPP and CCAP. She/he will carry out the overall digitization process of the Women’s Mobility Map (WMM) of Citizen’s Charter where the officer will mainly convert visual qualitative data into a quantifiable format with the help of data-entry staff. The Data Digitization and Analysis Officer with clear understanding of the overall concept of the WMM supervises the data entry team and ensures that the data is properly converted into a dynamic digitized form as designed/required in the MIS which can help the team and stakeholders generate different types of reports. She/He will be responsible for any trouble shooting during the process and work closely with MIS Department of the CCAP:
Key roles and Accountabilities:
· Compile, sort and organize Maps to be digitized, and entered into the CCAP database system
· Communicate problems, errors and findings with relevant stockholders
· Supervision, training and guiding of the data entry team (5-7 members)
· Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques for investigation and provide ongoing reports
· Conducts continuous assessment and monitoring of the data entry intern work performance, and taking steps to correct poor work performance
· Prepare daily progress report
· Perform extensive database related verification checks on the data for accuracy, completeness and quality according to the existing procedures and guidelines
· Ensure that the data is digitized according to existing procedures and guidelines
· Liaise with MIS team on a daily basis for the smooth operation and functionality of the system
· Provide regular report of digitized data for different stakeholders accordingly and generate precise reports on timely manner
· Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible and check outputs on regular basis
Reporting:
The Data Digitization and Analysis Officer will work as an employee of WEE-NPP under direct supervision of CCAP MIS department and reporting to WEE-NPP and CCAP MIS Department.
· Bachelor degree with minimum 4 years related experience or master degree with 2 years related experience will be preferred
· Advance knowledge of converting the Qualitative data (Maps) into quantitative
· Experience with MS Office Package and Data entry and data analysis program
· Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
· Confidentiality
· Being able to pay close attention to the details of data
· Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks
· Good communication and reporting skills
