The Afghan Ministry of Interior fulfills a role of crucial functions to strengthen civilian protection, the rule of law and security in Afghanistan. These include: Enforcement of Rule of Law Ensuring security and protection of public order and security Take preventive measures to avoid the criminal incidence Timely detection of crime and criminals and prevent public disorder and violations Fight corruption, social immorality that disrupts public safety and welfare Supporting sound performance to strengthen transparency and accountability Ensuring police professionalization and capacity building of MoI staff Respect human rights and enhance the relationship of police and public Control and Protection Afghan borders Promote and enhance women’s participation in the police ranks Equal law enforcement, gender equality and provide required resources, facilities and fairThe incumbent professional environment for women Coordinating amongst ANSF and judicial entities within legal boundaries and in accordance to the law ANP command and control Fight against narcotics import, production, cultivation, and smuggling Counterterrorist activities, organized crimes, human trafficking and attracting international assistance.
This is a Grade 4 Position working with facilities directorate.Preparing, arranging and establishing system and registration of information in database and its update in a timely manner.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparing and arranging the registration activities of database programs
2. Establishing Data Bank
3. Registration and supply of information to computer in database system
4. Preparing reports on shortages and defects of database functions to the relevant supervisor
5. Work recommendations to resolve defects and shortages in database information system
6. Making the required information available for supervisors and applicants and extracting the information from database system
7. Presenting the monthly and quarterly report to the relevant supervisor
8. Carrying out other duties entrusted to him by his supervisor.
9. Completion and enrichment of required information in the database system
10. Presenting reports on project implementation to the relevant supervisor
The key results impact all achievements and successful sustainability of the program in Afghanistan and adds up to transparency and accountability
Bachelor degree in computer science, political science, economy, Information Technology Education
At least two-year work experience related to the job
Fluency in official languages (Dari and Pashtu) and English language (Writing and Speaking)
Other skills (short term courses, on the job trainings and etc.). Knowledge of rule and regulation and other enforced legislative documents, communications, capacity building, English language, computer skills in applications related to the job and other required skills.

Ability in learning, understanding and implementing most of MOIA management and security procedures and policies
