About MOIA:

The Afghan Ministry of Interior fulfills a role of crucial functions to strengthen civilian protection, the rule of law and security in Afghanistan. Job Summary:

This is a grade 4 position under Communication & Information Technology Directorate.Developing database system and recording the data in AHRIMS, maintaining the systems and prevention of virus from breaching the system.

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Developing monthly, quarterly and annual working plans
2. Developing and organizing data registration affairs into AHRIMS
3. Data registration within the database of the system and updating it on regular basis
4. Reporting on gaps and deficiencies of database to head of department
5. Professional recommendation for addressing deficiencies and gaps within the system.
6. Providing required data and information to the heads of the departments and data collection from the system.
7. Presenting monthly report of achievements to the supervisor.
8. Performing other legal duties assigned by the relevant supervisor
9. Completing and enriching required data within the system
10. Change, design and manage the database.
11. Database protector/Antivirus to prevent programmatic incidents
12. Promoting database procedures in terms of speed and variation
13. Get reports from database
14. Maintaining Database firewall

Impact of Results
Summary of results is all about MoIA’s progress and effectiveness within Afghanistan. Effectiveness of legal consultations purposes adds to transparency and further accountability within MoIA.

Job Requirement:

At least bachelor degree in IT, Programming, Education
At least One year experience in the related field Experience
Fluency in English, Dari/Pashto and written as well as spoken ability Language Requirements:
Other skills (short term trainings and courses, on the job trainings and etc.) Comprehensive knowledge of laws, regulations and other legal documents of the country, liaising, capacity building, English language, computer program skills. Other skills
