We are looking for a talented Database lecturer to teach relevant Database and MIS subjects. Develop and teach both theoretical & practical field related subjects (e.g. DB Concept, DB Security and Administration, Data-warehouse, Distributed Databases, Data mining, SQL, SQL+, MySQL, etc.).
1. Conceptual knowledge of database implementation and maintenance
2. Must know the distributed system
3. Modern database concepts (Data warehousing, Data mining, Data Marts, OLAP)
4. Strong foundation and knowledge of Oracle, MySQL and SQL Server
5. Designing databases including identifying requirements, creating the logical design (conceptual model), and develop databases accordingly.
6. Installation and configuration of Oracle, and SQL server 2008 & 2012, windows server (2008 and 2012), Visual Studio 2008& 2013, IIS, .Net framework and other required software.
7. Knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, MySQL, PHP, Java, and others
8. Experience to work in visual studio 2008, 2013, ASP.Net, able to create different Interfaces using ASP.NET.
9. Investigating, gathering diagnostic data for and reporting to SQL Support Services and critical database errors.
10. Evaluating and testing new database features, and implementation of data models, managing database objects such as tables, indexes, and views.
11. Database accessibility, performance issues, capacity issues, data replication, and table maintenance.
12. Develop application and database, design appropriate frameworks and prepare reports according to operation guidelines, creating new crystal reports and maintain the current reports as required
13. Manage various application and database (in ASP.NET and SQL) technologies and assist in various application development projects
