Women for Afghan Women (WAW) is a grassroots civil society organization dedicated to protecting and promoting the rights of disenfranchised Afghan women and girls in Afghanistan and New York. In particular, WAW works to help Afghan women and girls exercise their rights to pursue their individual potential to self-determination, and to representation in all areas of life—political, social, cultural, and economic. WAW relentlessly advocates for women’s rights and challenges the norms that underpin gender-based violence to influence attitudes and bring about change.
The Provincial Manager has the responsibility to manage Children Support Centre (CSC) and Transitional-House (TH) activities considering the project cycle management in an effective and efficient manner per the set log frames indicators and project work plans in collaboration with the Head of Program.
This position holder will be also responsible to manage all day to day operations activities of CSC Finance, HR, Security, Logistics and Administration. The job holder is also responsible to oversee the successful implementation of TH activities and operation functions ensuring achievements of set targets for all centres.
Ø Keep WAW cases database up to date
Ø Make sure that case workers complete all intake forms
Ø Translate intake forms from Dari to English
Ø Record all cases data into database
Ø Make sure that all computer antivirus system is up to date
Ø Prepare monthly reports from database to province manager and quarterly donors report
Ø Make sure that all computer and other electronics are in running well
Ø In practical individuals are responsible to shut off their system before leaving not the database officer.
Ø Other work as needed by organization and as told by Province Manager
Ø She is responsible for keeping the confidentiality of client’s cases in consideration of WAW Data Security Policy.
Ø Able to work overtime on weekends or holidays required by the supervisor or program
- At least 14th grade graduate or higher
-Bachelor of Computer science / English are highly preferred
- Good command on Dari, Pashto and English Languages.
- Familiar with MS office and internet.
- Strong analytical skills
