In due course of time, the Bank intends to expand its Branch Network in Kabul as well as at other key locations of the Country.

Job Summary

Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to manage, plan, organize, control and lead day to day activities of the bank as per extant compliance policies of the Bank in Head Office as well as the Branches of the Bank.


Monitoring and observing the daily transactions of the bank, transferees and other activities of the bank in respect of compliance laws, regulations and circulars of DAB.


Duties & Responsibilities

As Deputy Chief Compliance Officer your responsible to:


1.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to assist Chief Compliance Officer on daily related works.


2.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to solidarity with Compliance head in Manage and lead the compliance program.


3.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to coordinate applicable policy, procedures and Compliance program.


4.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer shall assure the compliance program effectively prevents and/or detects violations of laws, regulations, and corporate policies.


5.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to communicate to all employees, compliance program’s expectations and responsibilities.


6.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to engage in open communication and provide routine reports to the Supervisory Board with the Copy to CEO.


7.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to work with legal counsel, on juridical issues.


8.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to measure the compliance program’s effectiveness and recommend program improvements to the Chief Compliance Officer


9.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to monitoring LCTR, SAR & STR for the related authority.


10.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to develop compliance program implementation and operation policies and procedures; update policies and procedures as necessary.


11.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to educate employees on the firm’s DAB AML/CFT law policies and procedures


12.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to establish a retribution-free system for employees to report suspected misconduct. 


13.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to coordinate investigation of all noncompliance reports, tracking the status of all reports and investigations


14.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to develop and implement corrective action plans resulting from noncompliance investigation.


15.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality assurance of annual compliance program. 


16.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality of Offsite AML Unit.


17.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality of Offsite KYC Unit.


18.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality assurance of Training Materials and Online trainings Conducted by compliance staff on bank wide bases.


19.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality assurance of all tasks performed at Compliance Department.


20.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality assurance of sanction screening program.


21.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to review quality assurance of Transaction Monitoring program.


22.Deputy Chief Compliance Officer is responsible to prepare Monthly Reporting of all activities performed to Chief Compliance Officer on Prescribed formats.


Job Requirements

Qualifications: 


1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Law.


2. Priority will be give to have ACAMs Certification or any other relevant international accredited certification.


3. Shall have at least five years of managerial work experience in Compliance of banks or seven years of relevant work experience in other financial institutions.
