About Integrity Watch Afghanistan:
IWA is an independent research and advocacy National organization.
The Deputy Director will responsible for Executive, Management and Programmatic support in addition to donor relations and being the primary point of contact for all facilitation and records keeping with regard to the Board of Directors. He/she will report directly to the Executive Director. This position is based in Kabul and can involve travel to the provinces. The Deputy Director will be responsible for the following duties

Command of the Microsoft Office software.
Excellent written and spoken English. Knowledge of local languages would be an asset.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordination of governance
Facilitate with the Board of Directors on behalf of the Executive Director.
Draft and facilitate comments on, edit and disseminate agendas & meeting minutes for Board of Directors and General Assembly meetings including meeting records keeping.
Organize Board meeting date and time considering the Board’s availability.
Follow up on Board and General Assembly decisions.
Facilitate Board Travel plans to Kabul, and abroad as needed.
Update list of General Assembly Members.
Liaise with external donors and partners effectively and with the highest level of professionalism.
Be key liaison with international and local funding organizations and stakeholder groups
Facilitate development of proposals.
Raise funds for the organization’s key programs and projects.
Act as Officer-in-Charge of the organization in the absence of Executive Director
Act in executive/managerial capacity over 90+ staff organisation
Together with the Executive Director, facilitate organizational and programmatic strategy development.
Assist in organizational policy creation and implementation
Oversee the Implementation, and accuracy of organisational policies and management activities.
Overseeing the provision of support and strategic and operational guidance to all organisational units and staff.
Job Location:Afghanistan, Kabul
Masters Degree in International Management, Administrative Management, international relations, Public Policy, or other relevant degrees. Minimum of Bachelor degree in previously mentioned subject areas.
Executive level experience preferred but not required.
Previous personnel management.
Firm grasp of professional business communications and the ability to manage and work in teams.
Multicultural experience a must (regional experience preferred).
Experience in research and proposal writing a plus.
Previous experience in NGO or International Organisations.
