Job Summary

The Designer under the supervision of Head of Marketing Department is responsible for designing the monthly publication and performs required designing jobs within the bank.

Duties & Responsibilities

1.Prepare plan for publishing the articles in the monthly publication.
2.Prepare publishing materials according to the norms.
3.Layout and get up of the materials received for publication.
4.Draw and print charts, graphs, illustration and other artwork using computer.
5.Confer with relevant people and determine layout design.
6.Review final layout and suggest improvements as needed.
7.Develop and design publication by gathering data and Information through research.
8.Thinking creatively to produce new ideas, concepts and using innovation to redefine a design within the constraints of cost and time.
9.Estimate the financial expenses of the publication and materials needed.
10.Prove reading to produce accurate and high quality work.
11.Work as part of team with media and marketing members.
12.Monitor the printing and distributing process of the publication on time.
13.Perform other activities assigns by the Line Manager from time to time.

Job Requirements

•Proficiency in illustration softwares, Photoshop and MS Office.
•At least 3 years experience in relevant field.
•Must be able to expertly review submitted materials to ensure accuracy, correct grammar, spelling and punctuation.
•Must be experienced in editing submitted materials and creating advertising and editorial copy.
•Past experience in designing publication will be an advantage.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy.
•Typing ability of Dari, Pashto and English.
•Professional and innovative.
•Persuasiveness and disciplined.
