About Agility Logistics

Job Summary

Overall responsibilities is to undertake and monitor maintenance works associated with NG facilities, generators, plumbing, electricity, appliances, carpentry works, supply of fuel to generators, heaters, tracking proper generators running log books, maintain generators, this include weekly, monthly activities reports to the immediate supervisor.
• Undertake all NG properties proper maintenances and to ensure all immediate action on fixing normal wears and tears
• Wear protective clothing. Utilize safe work practices. Report unsafe conditions using NG reporting system.
• Carry out inspections and investigations, risk assessments and report as required.
• Daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly check of all, generators running hours log books, electrical appliances.
Continued checking, maintaining and servicing of all generators at the offices, guesthouses and other NG properties and ensuring all required criteria are followed.
• Refueling of all generators reservoirs, changing oil, filters and services with proper recording keeping and reporting system
• Training all night and/day duty workers on how to operate, maintain, log generators
• Timely inspection of all properties fire extinguishers and refreshing the expired cylinders

Duties & Responsibilities

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Repair and maintain generators, vehicles and heat exchangers.
2. Diagnose and correct basic mechanical problems with generators and vehicles.
3. Conduct complete repairing on generators and vehicles, including mechanical and electrical systems.
4. Conduct complete overhaul and repair efforts on generator and vehicle engines.
5. Repair and maintain office and residential heat exchangers.
6. Carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
• Minimum 1-2 years of progressively responsible relevant work experience in the generator and vehicle repairing field.

Desirable Qualifications:
• Experience in working with large and international NGOs would be an advantage.

Education:
• Secondary Education is essential.

Language Requirements:
• Good English speaking is required.

Abilities and Skills:
• Ability to work in a team, ability to work under pressure to meet the deadlines and excellent interpersonal skills are required

position and to take proper care of work tools and equipments.
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality assurance and cost effectiveness for all works undertaken and to observe polices procedures and occupational health and safety regulations of work place.
• perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or maintenance officer
