MCIT of Afghanistan (Ministry of Communication and Information Technology) currently looking for an experienced Digital Services Project Manager who can Coordinate the following cross-functional teams as appropriate and as indicated by standard development process to ensure successful software or application release quality assurance, technical documentation, technical operations, trainings, technical support, and marketing. Manger will Create and maintain a project plan that tracks the completion and delivery of all IT milestones, including development, quality assurance, documentation, and deployment. Compiles a master project plan using input from multiple managers and planners. Digital services project manager Provide regular project status, milestones, and risk to all stakeholders. Conducts coordination meetings and provides status reports, and provide present project updates to executive management.
· Technical Project Manager to manage and deliver Application Development projects implemented using technologies.
· Will Works closely with stakeholders in IT and another department to ensure alignment between business needs and project deliverables.
Responsible for prioritizing project work based on mutually agreed upon goals of directorate.

· Creates and maintains a project plan that tracks the completion and delivery of all department milestones, including development, quality assurance, documentation, and deployment.
· Responsible to track budget and spend for each project.
· Provides weekly, monthly, yearly project status, milestones, and risk to the directorate or head of department.
· Conducts coordination meetings and provides status reports.
· Will be responsible to prepare and provide status presentations for executive audience.
· Demonstrates deep and broad product knowledge.
· Accomplishes all of the above in accordance with standard procedures.
· All other duties as assigned.
· Master or bachelor degree in Computer Science, in field of Software Engineering, Information Systems required.
· PMI Certification preferred but not required.
· 4+ years of related work experience with 2+ years of technical project management or related experience.
· knowledge of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile, and experience in implementing best practices.
