Job Summary:
AGEF requires a fully qualified and experienced Trainers in order to run the Disaster Awareness Project Kishem to its best.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities and Tasks
ï‚§ You will support the national project manager implementing the project in the villages of the Kishim District, Badakshan Province in close cooperation with other trainers.
ï‚§ You will arrange for and implement several trainings in your special field (up to 50 days of training) in the target area
ï‚§ You will implement disaster preparedness measures in villages such as
o Designing awareness plans
o Identifying and implementing alerting and communication lines
o Identifying, recording and signing escape routes
o Identifying collectively used buildings as emergency accommodation and retrofitting them (if necessary)
ï‚§ You will work in the team which organizes a minimum of two disaster exercises and you will implement emergency exercises in your special field
ï‚§ You will document the project activities

- Knowledge in the field of disaster prevention
- Experiences gained as a trainer/teacher
- Management skills

- Willingness to stay in the villages of the Kishin district for longer periods of time
- Good organizational talent, ability to work independently
- Good command of the English language and computer literacy would be a bonus
